A bit about my background and process...

I'm a photojournalist by training with a career that spans two decades. During my career I've explored many media related to photography including photolithography, calligraphy, Polaroid transfer techniques, graphic design including web and print, multimedia storytelling in Director and Flash, and digital illustration.

This small collection of images is designed to present a variety of working styles ranging from figurative to abstract, photographic to more traditionally illustrative. Concepts vary from literal to conceptual.

I try to work with no real allegiance to a particular style. My homage to a traditional graphic design work ethic has taught me to embrace any tool in the repertoire that complements the project and addresses the visual problem before me. Some pieces beg for simple black and white photographic imagery, some require primitive line and quick execution.
